Crash testing for vehicles is very important in helping minimise losses of such death, injuries, and property damage from vehicle crashes that happen on the roads.

There is multiple kinds of crash tests for vehicles safety undertaken to provide the necessary information and guidance to vehicle owners example of the crash test are frontal impact test, offset test, side-impact test, rollover test and roadside hardware crash test. Car crash test is done by globally crash test and countries wise also tests are conducted especially car manufacturers developed countries their new car crash test or new car assessment programmes. In India recently year 2017 introduced its crash test, given names of Bharat New vehicle safety assessment programmes.

Indian NCAP 

In India, 2017 have introduced its new car assessment programmes (NCAP), called Bharat New Vehicle Safety assessment programmes (BNVSAP). October 2019 BNVSAP second round car crash test was done with all car manufacturers after car crash test passed only to allowed on the Indian roads.

 Some safety features made mandatory on standard or base variant cars, like  ABS Braking, a minimum of two airbags, especially driver and co-driver side and a Speed warning system the system is activated when your car above 100km/h speed pop up or beep noise continuously until speed not reduced. 

These three safely features are mandatory for all base variant cars segment.
